CSA Programs
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a food share program offering a great way to eat fresh, seasonal food. As CSA members or subscribers you purchase a farm share and receive regular distributions of vegetables, fruit, meat, or other farm products.
Being part of a CSA allows you to know where your food comes from and how it is grown. Produce is often harvested within days or hours of delivery, meaning produce retains more nutritional value and stays fresher longer. Many farms offer a variety of delivery and pick up options for your convenience.
In support of local agriculture, CSAs allow farmers to have a dependable revenue stream and market for their produce and help ensure small farmers stay in business. The York Farm Fresh members listed below offer CSA and farm share programs. Visit them for details and to sign up for their CSAs.
