Hamilton Farm #9

The Hamilton Farm story begins in 1883 when the Hamiltons purchased 100 acres. The land is now cared for by Paul, a fourth generation farmer who started straight out of high school. Formerly a dairy farmer he now grows vegetables and raises beef cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens turkeys and rabbits. He gets the most out of the growing season by warming up the greenhouse.

There are 3 generations still living on the farm today. Glenda started farming on the property 30 years ago when she married Paul, she farms . Their sons work on the farm Bradly as a vet technician helping with the livestock, Russell is a carpenter and they are beginning to produce their own cheese. When visiting you might even meet Mary who has been living on the farm since the 1940s.
