Chris got into beekeeping in 2012 out of curiosity about honeybees, honey production, and how to help the dwindling population. He has since expanded his knowledge through the worldwide community of beekeepers, including trips to Spain, France, Romania, Jordan and Sweden to learn from beekeepers there and their processes.

Loohoo Luxe products are developed and hand-crafted by Cynthia Ryan. She began looking for natural alternatives after an illness made her sensitive to commercially available products, but found limited availability and what products she could find were prohibitively expensive. She decided to start dabbling with recipes at home. At the time, she was developing products only for her own use, but soon friends and family were requesting extras for their own use. Word spread, and soon Cynthia was taking orders and making her products in bulk. Her goal is to make natural, safe products widely available and affordable for everyone.

Justin & Amanda Zielonko opened Elpida Cafe & Roastery, because of genuine passion for coffee (& tea) and the desire to reach out to the community. What started as a simple hobby roasting coffee at home has transformed into the community coffee shop it is today - providing handcrafted specialty drinks and ethically sourced fresh roasted coffee.

At Square Spoon, we handcraft premium ice cream and sorbet in flavours inspired by the seasons and people of our community. Our ingredients are sourced from local farms and producers whenever possible and everything that goes into our creamy treats is made in-house. We want to help you create lasting memories with family, friends and neighbours.
